In a bid to increase productivity, Austrian print and media service provider, Eisl & Friends, has invested in a software package from the new Esko Software Suite 7.
Eisl & Friends currently works with a Xerox iGen3 digital production press and Esko Kongsberg i-XE10 finishing table. EskoArtwork and Xerox have a reseller agreement in place that enables Xerox to sell software and hardware solutions from EskoArtwork in Europe, while EskoArtwork provides post-sale service and support. The Austrian print service provider has become the first user to benefit from this alliance.
Harald Eisl, general manager and head of marketing at Eisl & Friends, said: "With these additional technical capabilities, we are taking a new step into the third dimension. Anything and everything is possible now – from highly complicated presentation folders with die-cut logos all the way to all varieties of folding cartons. Most importantly, we are producing these products more cost-effectively than ever before, because printing runs as small as one item are now affordable."
