EskoArtwork helps label printer to meet customer demand

30 November 2007

UK based flexographic label printer, Reproflex, has invested in digital technology from EskoArtwork in response to a surge in customer requests for innovatively designed full-colour precision labels, delivered within a short time frame.

The Yorkshire based company has installed an Esko CDI (Cyrel Digital Imager) Spark 4835 with multi-beam Optics 40, as well as six seats of Esko DeskPack, Esko FlexRip and Esko FlexProof.

Carl Garner, technical sales director at Reproflex, said: “The label marketplace is tough and we know that the only way to beat the competition is to adopt the latest and the very best digital technology.”

Paul Laidler, production manager at Reproflex, added: "The size of plate that the Esko CDI 4835 offers us provides the optimum square footage to work with. The speed at which we are now working has certainly made a difference to our customer service."

Commenting on investment in the software packages, the company’s studio manager, Jonathan Jennison, said: “We take our checks very seriously and verify the content, the trapping and the limits. Now we can ensure that dot-to-dot every facet is perfect before we pass it to proofing.”
