Greek high end flexibles converter Hatzopoulus is using Corona-Plus web treaters from Danish supplier Vetaphone. Initially fitted on one of its laminating machines, today Hatzopoulos uses the Vetaphone treaters on all its flexo presses and laminators. The company specifically asked for Corona-Plus treaters to be installed when purchasing its latest Rotomec 10C rotogravure press.
The quick change cartridge system which enables an operator to change, clean and maintain the cartridge within minutes is particularly important to the Greek company, as it supplies the international food industry and works under the tightest cleanliness conditions.
“We were attracted by the sturdy, simple construction and especially by the innovative and practical removable cartridge system,” confirms technical manager at Ovidios Serb. “We weren’t disappointed. The Vetaphone corona treater immediately reduced maintenance time and cost; and adding to that a very low ratio of breakdowns and failures during operation, it wasn’t a hard decision to go back for more.”
