Aiming to grow its market share, leading Swiss manufacturer of quality corrugated displays and packaging for the consumer goods industry, Langenbach has ordered a size 6 (56in) Rapida 142 6-colour offset press with one coater and a triple extended delivery.
A veteran user of large format KBA technology, Langenbach, in Schafisheim, takes delivery of the new press this month. The new machine comes with quality measurement, monitoring and control, in-line sheet inspection and will be fully embedded in the firm’s automated substrate logistics system.
Predominantly an offset operation, in addition to packaging blanks and display cartons the company also produces finished folding cartons, counter stands and attractive presentation systems.
In June this year, it also installed KBA’s new size 7 (63¾in) Rapida 162 6-colour press equipped with two coaters and automation systems including non-stop pile feed, removal and logistics, plate changing, the QualiTronic Professional in-line colour measurement and control, and the DensiTronic dynamic density control.
