US-based global engineered film supplier Dunmore Corp will be installing a Davis-Standard tandem coating line in early 2012, to increase capacity and expand the company’s wide width and dual coating capabilities.
Dunmore has seen significant growth across its diverse markets, including solar energy, energy management, imaging and security, aerospace, and surface finishing. The new line will feature two coating heads and dry bond laminating capabilities with a 2,000mm maximum web width and line speeds in excess of 300m/min. Materials to be processed include PET, OPP, PVC, LDPE, polyvinyl fluoride (PVF), and nylon.
The new line will be installed at Dunmore’s Brewster, New York, facility. The company also has manufacturing plants in Bristol, Pennsylvania, and Freiburg, Germany.
