Middleton Paper announce new mini web capability for envelope converters and digital print
Middleton Paper are pleased to announce the capability to produce mini reels from their conversion facility conveniently situated in the West Midlands.
Vital adjustments have been made to the rewinder which now enable the converting company to produce reels down to a minimum width of 120mm.
Peter Featherstone, Conversion Sales Manager at Middleton Paper, says: "This investment in our rewinder now gives us the opportunity to rewind full size reels down to 120mm mini webs as required by envelope converters and for many digital presses. With a maximum od of 1250mm, this improves our service offer to this essential market."
Middleton Paper has the capacity to convert up to 50,000 tonnes of paper a year with turnaround possible in as little as 24-48 hours. The company also converts a wide range of materials for a variety of different sectors, including graphical, packaging, food and beverage cups and containers, POS, digital and envelope manufacturers.
"In addition to the mini webs, our modern fleet of Pasaban sheeters gives us unrivalled flexibility," adds Featherstone. "We can manage anything from lightweight papers right up to 700 micron boards for total ease of access to bespoke sizes and products; and with the capability to rewind down to 120mm reels we know our service and breadth of range cannot be equalled."
