Linx leads Primopost to gold

4 May 2011

UK flexible packaging printer Primopost won a gold award at the 2011 EFIA Gala Print Awards. From over 400 entries in the medium-sized flexo category, the Buxton-based company scooped the award with packaging it produced for French confectionery giant Cémoi’s range of premium chocolate bars, which are manufactured in the UK by OP Chocolate.

The award winning reverse printed metallised laminate packaging utilised the ‘groundbreaking’ Linx technology developed by repro and colour management specialist Miller Graphics Corniche in conjunction with Kodak. Linx enables ‘gravure quality’ print to be achieved through flexo.

OP Chocolate’s Purchasing Manager Peter McNally, confirmed: “The packaging Primopost produced for us is stunning and their willingness to embrace new technologies such as Linx has really paid off.”
