ITL expands UV LED curing product offer at Label Expo 2015
At Label Expo Europe 2015 Integration Technology Limited (ITL) will be unveiling for the first time two new slim-line water and air cooled UV LED products with unrivalled performance and class leading dose outputs, specifically designed for the digital label printing market.
Under its brand mark of "UV Integration", ITL will be exhibiting alongside strategic partner IST Metz on stand 5D31, where these new UV LED developments compliment the unveiling of further exciting new products from IST targeted at the Flexo label printing market, clearly demonstrating the "one stop shop" approach for all UV solutions from the two companies combined.
On Stand 5D31, ITL introduces for the first time working examples of the all new Solidcure 2 N and Pincure 2 range of UV LED systems:
Solidcure 2 N is equally at home as either a full cure system for colour printing or a heavy pinning of high density colours such as white in high speed applications. Slim and ultra-compact at just 20mm wide to slot into the tightest of machine spaces, the Solidcure 2N is fully scalable in length and water-cooled to deliver class-leading dose and linearity of output surpassing other water cooled products of this type around the world.
Complementing the extremely successful ITL Pincure product - first launched in 2011 - the all new Pincure 2 UV LED offers a more powerful solution in a compact and lightweight package for high speed pinning between inkjet printheads. Again at just 20mm thick with integral all-air cooling and scalable for length of application, the Pincure 2 delivers a powerful yet ultra-compact proposition. The proven optics of the original Pincure model (which unlike many of its competitors completely eliminates the risk of UV light damage to the printhead nozzle plates) has been further enhanced, and in Pincure 2 is now housed within a clever design which prohibits media contact and contamination to the lenses.
With both Solidcure 2 N and Pincure 2 the challenges usually associated with pinning applications are now completely in the past.
Meanwhile all existing models in the extensive line-up of ITL UV LED solutions have recently received a 20% performance upgrade. With hints of yet more to come for 2016, ITL sees these latest introductions as the most significant development in extending choice to existing and emerging markets.
