Packaging Innovations, the UK's biggest packaging show, which closed its doors at Birmingham's NEC on 27 February, was a "record success" for organiser easyFairs.
The multi-show event (including converting, label and print features) attracted 6,004 visitors over the two days, an 18 per cent increase on last year. Seventy-seven per cent of exhibitors rebooked onsite for next year's show.
Event director Alison Church commented: "We couldn't be more thrilled with how the show went - an easyFairs record breaker. With both visitor and exhibitor numbers up, we are in a great position to take the show to new heights next year."
Packaging Innovations was co-located with six other shows: Ecopack, Contract Pack, Packtech, Print Innovations, Labelling Innovations, and Converting.
The next UK event, focusing on Packaging Innovations and Luxury Packaging, takes place at the Business Design Centre in London on 30 September-1 October 2014. Next year, Packaging Innovations, Empack and Label&Print will return to the NEC on 25-26 February 2015.
Other Packaging Innovations events in 2014 stage in Zürich, Switzerland, on 26-27 March 2014, and Warsaw, Poland, on 9-10 April
