GMG, the German high-end color management and proofing software supplier, says it boosted first half sales by 14% compared with the same period in 2006 and by almost 50% against the first six months of 2005.
Sales outside Germany rose rapidly and account for more than two-thirds of total business, the company says, with developments in the US, UK, Spain and Italy especially encouraging.
Managing director Robert Weihing says: “With drupa 2008 coming up and new products in the pipeline, we are confident the constant upward trend since 2004 will also continue into 2008.”
GMG, with its flagship ColorProof system, has more than 6,000 systems installed across the graphic arts industry, including flexo converters and international gravure printing plants.
