Italian narrow web press manufacturer Gidue recorded a turnover of over €28M for the year 2006/2007, marking an average growth of approximately 22 per cent on the previous year.
Company president Federico d’Annunzio states: “Our turnover shows a visible growth of sales in the high end range of Intelligent presses like I-Combat, Athena and the hybrid offset/flexo Xpannd. The strong financial situation allows us to invest in further new technology programmes, and to start international expansion of service and manufacturing, with the creation of Gidue do Brasil, Gidue Australia, and new facilities which will be announced in the following months. “
General manager Cristina Toffolo says the backlog of incoming orders for year 2007/2008 is "again outperforming the target".
