Drupa 2012, will see the worldwide exclusive launch of the brand new d-Flex digital inkjet press from Focus Label Machinery. The new machine will incorporate full-colour, high quality inkjet heads into the existing Reflex servo press with in-line UV flexo printhead, diecutting, slitting and rewinding.
Visitors to the company’s stand (E61 in Hall 10) will be able to see high quality variable images, overprinted “in perfect register” with UV flexo ink, then converted and rewound – in a single pass.
In addition, for pre-printed digital webs, the Reflex S servo press converting line will demonstrate the accuracy of its re-register system - even at speeds of more than 100m/min. The full rotary system incorporates flexo printing/coating, foil, laminating, varnishing and diecutting facilities for roll to roll or roll to sheet applications.
Focus will also demonstrate its latest UV Centraflex model, with water-cooled central impression drum designed to compete in the growing markets for unsupported flexible packaging, shrink sleeves and the niche market for printed casings.
Finally, Focus will launch the benchtop B4 Letterflex press for efficient, economic production of garment labels & decorative ribbons. This offers up to four colours, with various options for reverse side and multiple ribbon printing. A new, halogen lamp drying system, enables production speeds up to 60m/min.
