Two new label facestock films have been introduced by Innovia.
Rayoface VTT is an ultra high yield, top coated white film for use in the industrial, chemical, logistics and transport labelling markets and for labelling outdoor garden and DIY products. Available in 70 micron, it is said to offer up to 20 per cent increased yield over comparative materials, making it an ideal replacement for paper labels, especially in applications requiring a high degree of resistance to moisture, oil, and chemicals. It is also suitable for high performance in-mould labelling applications.
The latest 'squeezable' label film is Rayoface WZPA, a high performance white pigmented grade for demanding applications requiring resilient conformability on flexible containers. The 56 micron film is said to combine the performance characteristics of bubble produced BOPP with the additional squeeze performance typical of PE films.
