Flint Group announces call for Annual Print Awards entries

18 July 2018

Flint Group is again looking to celebrate best-in-class print production with its 14th Annual Print Awards for its worldwide customers.

The awards celebrate the best from Flint Group’s three divisions: Flint Group Narrow Web, Flint Group Flexographic and Flint Group Digital Solutions (Xeikon).

Entries can be submitted by customers online for various print technologies, including:

  • Water-based flexo
  • UV flexo (both conventional & UV LED)
  • UV offset
  • Digital printing
  • UV letterpress
  • UV screen
  • Combination printing.

They can represent a wide range of applications including flexible packaging such as food packaging and pouches, coupons, shrink, pressure sensitive labels, cartons, yogurt lids, cut and stack, tags and tickets.

Antoine Fady, Flint Group’s CEO, explains: “year on year, we are excited and amazed by the creative and inspiring results submitted. As a go-to-adviser for the industry, we offer an unmatched product portfolio of products and services, covering all major steps of the value chain that enable our customers to achieve superior results. These awards showcase what is possible and ignite the imagination.”

The awards were first celebrated at Labelexpo Europe in 2004 when Flint Group Narrow Web was still under the XSYS Print Solutions company umbrella. Up to last year, they concentrated on Narrow web and Flexographic. For the first time at this year’s Labelexpo in Chicago, the Digital Solutions (Xeikon) division is calling for Print Awards entries together with its sister divisions.

Submissions are judged by a group of internal and external industry professionals including an industry peer who is not employed by the company to bring an objective view to the quality of the submissions.

The 2018 Awards will be announced and celebrated on the Flint Group stand at Labelexpo Americas, Booth 728, on 26 September at 16:00.
