Linoprint’s new DriveLine C drop-on-demand inkjet system can be used as a stand-alone or integrated unit for applications such as flexible and customised printing of unbonded folding cartons. It can also be used for many other products involving, for example, logos or different language versions.
The DriveLine C consists of a printing unit, dryer, transport system, optional camera and ejector station. Substrates up to 200mm wide can be printed in a single colour at a speed of 35m/min and a resolution of 360dpi
The camera system monitors, for example, the print image of data matrix codes used for pharmaceutical applications, to ensure reliable product labelling.
Print jobs can be set up quickly using the touchscreen, and a start and stop button is all the operator requires once setup has been completed. The software can be adapted to a wide range of customer requirements and can be integrated into existing ERP systems.
