ICE, the International Converting Exhibition, and CMM International are to market each other's events to their respective audiences around the world. ICE will promote CMM 2005 to converters and suppliers throughout the European Union. It will also host a booth and have a major presence at CMM, in Chicago during April 18-21. CMM will promote ICE and exhibit at the show in Munich, from November 22-24. Future opportunities will be explored in a variety of areas including educational sessions and conference programme initiatives.
A discount package for all ICE attendees interested in visiting CMM includes free entry to the exhibition, a 25 per cent discount on a full conference pass, discounted hotel rates and a chance to win special prizes. A new link on the CMM website facilitates registration for the show. Exhibitor packages for ICE exhibitors interested in making a debut at CMM include special booth rates.
"We believe this new alliance will attract many European converters who are looking to take advantage of the increased buying power of the Euro," says CMM president Ian Johnston. "Although we already attract thousands of international converters from two dozen countries, it will bring additional visitors who are loyal to ICE."
Michael Boyle, ICE event director adds: "This new transatlantic partnership ensures both CMM and ICE remain the world's two leading converting exclusive events offering ideal platforms for a wide range of converting processes and value for money across the globe."
