Euromac, the Italian manufacturer that is known world wide expands its product line, announcing its TB-3.06iNE Greenline slitter rewinder.

The brand new Greenline slitter rewinder is aimed at helping converters to grow their businesses with an affordable solution together with the Euromac experience.

Euromac, known for its fully customised primary and secondary slitter rewinder, roll-to-roll rewinders and doctor inspection machines, offers to the market its vision of compact duplex slitter rewinder, bringing standardisation within the flexible packaging and converting market to a whole new level.

Development of the Greenline and launching a Euromac standardised Duplex slitter rewinder has been driven especially by clients and converters asking Euromac to design a system applicable for ‘high grade’ entry level applications. Euromac came up with this compact Duplex slitter rewinder developed to achieve the maximum of standardisation and offering the highest degree of flexibility.

Company spokesman Hendrik van Rooijen adds: “It’s an exciting time for Euromac. This product range gives us the possibility of entering various markets and converters that were unreachable for Euromac because of budget, specifications and needs. Converters can initiate their material on the Greenline and potentially expand their business with our classic Blueline.”

The Greenline, which has been fully developed and produced in Italy, has all the features expected from Euromac: high quality, sturdy construction, flexibility, ergonomic, low downtimes, high speed, low maintenance and focused on production quality and safety. Shorter delivery times are also promised.

The Euromac Greenline is available from 1,000mm – 1,800mm, and includes as standard:

¦ Steel side-frames 50mm thick, for robust and sturdy construction;

¦ Integrated shaftless unwinder of maximum. 1,000mm (lift from floor to working position);

¦ Tension control by dancer roller, optionally by AC motor control;

¦ Duplex rewind on differential ball friction shafts assisted by double contact rollers for finished reels of 600mm;

¦ Programmable logic circuitry to control the logic and analogic functions of the machine;

¦ Pneumatic single knives slitting unit with air expanding counter knives, and interchangeable circular/razorblade cut for minimum slit width 40mm or 25mm;

¦ Laser core pointers for core positioning fitted on traverse overhanging rewind shafts complete with quick-lock system;

¦ Twin-bar device to accommodate finished rolls out of the slitter;

¦ 10 inch full-colour touchscreen display for all parameters and the complete running status of the machine;

¦ Machine conformity to the standards 89/392/CEE, 93/44/CEE e 93/67/CEE; and

¦ Handling normal applicable material such as films, laminates, paper, non-woven, co-extrusions at a maximum speed of 600m/min

Euromac says it has received excellent reviews and feedback from visitors who have had the opportunity to come to Italy and would be happy to invite all converters that are interested in trying out the new system. As well as the Greenline, the company continues to build many other types of slitter rewinders which are available for demonstration, both for narrow web and primary film applications.

Euromac Costruzioni Meccaniche was founded in 1968, in Villanova Monferrato, Italy, and claims to be one of the world’s leading privately owned producers of slitter rewinders for plastics films, laminates, paper, aluminum foil and other materials for food and non-food flexible packaging. It is strategically located in the area between Turin and Milan.

Since 1968, Euromac has been creating high-tech machines which are in continuous development. All of the company’s technical and electronic solutions, as well as its after sales activities are based upon the evaluation of the specific client’s requirements to develop a product range that satisfies the highest expectations.

Euromac has a total staff of over 120 employees, who are located in two facilities, which together occupy an area of 18,000m2.

The total number of systems sold worldwide is 1,600, around 80% of which have been exported.

In 2009/2010, Euromac says it achieved excellent results. The company is growing and believes that launching solutions such as the Greenline will help the converting market to achieve excellent results.
