Erhardt+Leimer marks success at LabelExpo Americas

22 October 2012

Strong interest in 100% print inspection, several NYSCAN workflow solutions sold and a very positive reception to the MMLD Matrix and the Missing Label System –Erhardt+Leimer is looking back on a very successful LabelExpo Americas.

For Jürgen Brau, head of inspection technology at Erhardt+Leimer, the LabelExpo show in Chicago confirms once again the “worldwide trend towards workflow solutions in print inspection.”

The specialists from Germany are well prepared to benefit from this trend. The company’s NYSCAN workflow solution is one of the world’s leading print inspection systems. With exactly matched hardware and software components, and innovative features such as the LED-TubeLight, it guarantees 100% print inspection – even under difficult printing conditions.

In combination with an easy integration into existing systems, intuitive operation and its renowned reliability, the NYSCAN workflow system meets the customer’s demands for 100% quality and cost effectiveness. This was impressively demonstrated by the sale of several NYSCAN solutions during the three-day exhibition.

Next to the NYSCAN workflow solution the new MMLD 'Matrix and the Missing Label' System aroused a strong interest among the visitors. The very easy three bottom operator interface seemed to convince machine operators as well as OEM customers. With set up times typically less than 5 seconds and no mechanical parts to move it is a real low-cost alternative to the traditional time-consuming set-up procedure of conventional sensor arrays.

Looking into the future, Jürgen Brau was pleased with the large number of visitors from Latin America. “In Latin America there is a great demand for workflow solutions,” he said. “During LabelExpo we were able to establish a lot of contacts with buyers. Now it is up to us to make the best of it.”
