Heidelberg has appointed Stephan Plenz member of the management board responsible for technology. Chairman of the board Bernhard Schreier will now focus on the strategic development of Heidelberg, acquisitions, communications, and compliance. He also retains his role as personnel director. Responsibility for sales now passes to Dr Jürgen Rautert, who will also continue to oversee customer and market focused activities, product management, and marketing. In addition to his usual responsibilities, cfo Dirk Kaliebe will also be responsible for boosting efficiency.
