With an “unparalleled” speed of 160 A4 pages/min and a duty cycle of almost 4M pages/month, the new Xeikon 6000 digital colour press is said to enable users to achieve higher production volumes and increased profits.
The press includes a new digital front end (X-800) and form adapted toner claimed to deliver outstanding quality and cutting edge workflow management tools. Xeikon boasts that It is the fastest digital colour press in the market - offering graphic arts quality.
The Xeikon 6000 will handles paper stock from 40-350g/m2 and is said to run the widest array of substrates in the market, including paperboard, at widths from 320-500mm and “unlimited, flexible image length”. Outstanding image quality due to excellent uniformity, smoothness, colour stability and registration are all promised.
The FA toner is FDA approved for indirect food contact, and the press is Pantone licensed. Red, blue, green, orange, white and clear spot toners are also available “off the shelf”.
