Xeikon doubles the choice of speeds and widths

7 September 2010

Xeikon has expanded its family of digital label presses to four models, now collectively named the Xeikon 3000 Series. It includes the completely new model 3050 and an upgraded replacement for the original 3000 model - the Xeikon 3030.

The new entry-level Xeikon 3030 will make its world debut at Labelexpo Americas, where the recently announced Xeikon 3500 flagship model will also be demonstrated for the first time in North America.

All four presses are said to deliver the same print quality and come in two maximum web widths of 330 and 516mm, each available in entry-level or the higher productivity versions. Entry-level versions are designed to be field-upgraded to the wider and/or faster specifications as the user’s business grows.

All models can print on a wide range of substrates without pre-coat, including various self-adhesive materials such as co-extruded films, BOPP, PVC and PET, paperboards, paper from 40 to 350g/m2 and transparent and opaque foils.
