Following its launch at Labelexpo Americas, AB Graphic International reports global interest in its new Digicon Series 3 label converting line, with orders already received from customers in France, Holland, Spain, the US, UK and Japan.
The new model is capable of converting speeds of up to 150m/min fully rotary or up to 64m/min semi-rotary. It has evolved as a result of feedback from a wide variety of digital printers and combines many individual upgrades.
Said to be "truly modular", the new Digicon has each process independent which enables a combination of semi-rotary, pull to mark or full rotary operation. The new web path combined with a totally integrated electrical cabinet gives a very small overall footprint and as with all previous Digicon models, the emphasis is on quick set-up and low waste, which is achieved by "a new level of automation".
