Whiter face for recycled board

17 March 2011

UK-based recycled paper honeycomb manufacturer Dufaylite has launched an improved white face for its Ultra Board lightweight, robust, ‘highly versatile’ and 100% recyclable substrate.

The Ultra Board Mk2 facing measures 65% whiter and 25% brighter than its predecessor, has a white inner face and produces a whiter appearance throughout. This allows for sharper and lighter printed images, produces more vibrant colours and creates greater contrast on the print surface, the company states.

The new white face is sourced from FSC certified forests in the UK and conforms to ISO9706 requirements for permanence. It is said to use 86% per cent less energy to produce and is totally sustainable.
