A system for placing information inserts or give-aways into cartons and boxes, Köra-Packmat's LHP Friction Feeder is claimed to give a position accuracy of within 1mm, making it ideal for precise feeding requirements. Inserts such as transfers, holograms, booklets and DVDs can be fed into both food and non food cartons, or onto the moving webs. Typical applications include feeding and positioning promotional materials into cereal boxes and affixing leaflets onto drinks cartons.
Operating with servomotors, the LHP lifts, transfers, feeds, positions and/or affixes inserts at a rate of up 600pp/min, depending on the application. It can feed single sheets or multiple folded inserts with maximum widths up to 350mm, and can be synchronized with end-of-line machinery.
