Verification systems to check corrugated production

5 April 2012

Baumer hhs offers various monitoring and verification tools to help corrugated converters achieve a ‘zero defect’ policy in production.

These include optical sensors for glue application monitoring which provide a useful PDF-protocol for the end-customer. Skew detection and jam detection are also part of the gluing and verification systems, together with live-picture camera solutions.

Baumer hhs is also developing barcode/EAN-code reading devices that operate on the production line. Gap monitoring of each individual box is another of the company’s ‘musts’ for the future.

A touchscreen is used to operate the system. All production-relevant inputs are made here, and up to 10,000 production samples can be stored for the user to call up for future jobs.
