Piezoelectric inkjet manufacturer Xaar has approved four of SunJet's Crystal range of UV curable inks.
Ink product manager at Xaar Dr Jill Woods explains "We are seeing inkjet technology make inroads into new areas, such as CD printing and ID cards, and UV ink development is one of the major factors to this success. Our partnership with leading ink companies, like SunJet, means we can offer comprehensive support to customers adopting this technology and ensure they can truly capitalise on the opportunities."
The SunJet ink is said to offer excellent adhesion to a broad range of substrates, high scuff resistance and flexible properties, making them ideal for the demanding requirements of wide format graphics, label, packaging and promotional printing applications.

"We are particularly pleased to have achieved approval in the OmniDot series of print heads as they can open up applications requiring higher print quality and single pass processing".
The Crystal UOX UV ink is approved for Xaar's OmniDot 760 GS8, offering single and multi pulse, greyscale technology for precision printing on non porous substrates. Crystal UGT combines with the OmniDot 318 printhead to print on a variety of non porous substrates in industrial and packaging applications.
