UK based equipment manufacturer Parkland International now has a North American facility - Parkland International Inc – based near Portland, Maine, under the leadership of director Chris van Haasteren.
“This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of the Parkland team and launch an established product range into the USA,” enthuses Mr van Haasteren. “It will provide the North American market with new technology for the converting industry, providing increased productivity, greater quality and accuracy and advanced health and safety requirements”.
In Europe, Parkland specialises in slitting rewinding and core cutting machines. The company says its new operation will offer the North American market a location that will provide future customers with the reassurance that local knowledge, culture, markets and trends will be considered. This will be fundamental when providing the market with a new exciting range of products for the converting industry.
