US show gains momentum

25 July 2004

The Graphic Arts Show Co says it has sold more space to exhibitors at Graph Expo and Converting Expo 2004, than the final sold figure for the 2003 show. The event will be held October 10-13, in Chicago's McCormick Place. Additional space was added to the floorplan three months ago to accommodate an influx of requests for space for the event. GASC is confident the expanded space will be sold out completely in October.

"Exhibitors made it clear that Graph Expo and Converting Expo is their best marketing opportunity for sales in 2004 and they have shown us that enthusiastically by upsizing their space, in some cases very significantly," says Regis J Delmontagne, president of GASC.

Some exhibitors are said to have increased the size of their displays significantly, taking up to six times more floorspace than in previous years. A number of new exhibitors have been added to this year's list, including Apple Computer, Quark, and Roll Systems.
