A new addition to UPM Raflatac’s durables labelling range, top-coated polyester face PET Matt White TC 50 is said to offer a more fit-for-purpose solution in many applications than the highly heat-resistant PET Matt White 60.
Matt films provide excellent bar code readability due to the absence of reflection. The top-coat assures excellent thermal transfer print results and superior scratch resistance with compatible TTR ribbons. PET Matt White TC 50 is available with both general purpose adhesives and special adhesives for applications where higher levels of adhesion and chemical and heat resistance are needed.
The new material is available through UPM Raflatac’s Small Roll Service. The option for single rolls in a choice of widths offers a reduced outlay for smaller label orders, “or a sensibly small start to bigger business”.
