Avery Dennison has confirmed that officials from the EC and relevant national competition authorities have visited and obtained documents from its pressure sensitive materials facilities in The Netherlands and Germany. The investigation appears to relate to alleged anti competitive activities in the European paper and forestry products industry, including the adhesive labelstock market. Other paper and forestry products companies have also been visited by the authorities.
Avery Dennison says it is co-operating fully with the investigation.
