Tullis Russell has launched its first uncoated product in its range of SBS cartonboards.
Trucard 0 was engineered in response to the growing demand for more tactile uncoated surfaces, a TRG spokesman says. The woodfree solid bleached sulphate cartonboard is a twin-wire product available in finishes for the card, cover and premium packaging markets.
Trucard 0 matt has a natural uncoated surface in a bright white shade while Trucard 0 felt has a textured finish for a hand-crafted effect. Trucard 0 felt extra has a light coating on either side to provide more of the inklift associated with a coated grade. There are 13 embosses.
