In the UK, Andrew Andronikou, Peter Kubik and Ladislav Hornan, of national accountancy group UHY Hacker Young, have been appointed joint administrators to TP8, the group comprising the Jowetts food packaging business, and Broadleys Labels and Hannibal Labels.
The Jowetts operation in Leeds employs 87 people and has a turnover of approximately £9M. Broadleys, a wet label manufacturer based in Accrington, has 45 employees, with a turnover of about £3M. Hannibal, in Leicester, specializes in labels for the food and cosmetic industries. It employs 40 people and has a turnover of around £6.5M.
The administrators are marketing the businesses for sale as going concerns either as a whole or as separate entities. They says they have received numerous enquires and are currently "fielding this interest to maximize realisations".
