Totani launches new pouch making machine

11 December 2007

Totani, the pouch machine manufacturer, has released a new high speed pouch making machine - the [D Model] that is said to offer a maximum speed to 240 cycles per minute for three side sealed pouches.

The new model has three different lengths of the main unit - 3,060mm length called as BH-60D, 3,560mm length called BH-60DL, and 4,300mm length called BH-60DLL. All models can mount stand-up and zipper facilities.

“In addition to speeding up, we reviewed the design of the machine and have achieved nearly double durability compared to the old model,” says Mike Greely, senior vp and sales manager, Totani America.

The new machine has compact electric boxes resulting in a smaller footprint area and “better access from the drive side”. It also has a larger servo motor for vertical motion offering higher press sealing.

“We have also renewed Servo Thomson Die Cutter corresponding to the [D Model] and have achieved higher production speed and easier job change for wide range of value added shaped pouches,” Mike Greely says.
