Time for RFID

The organizer of the recent GS1 UK EPCglobal Conference and Exhibition declared the event "a resounding success, with one clear message emerging for the market - that the time is right for RFID".

According to industry expert speakers, the adoption of RFID technology amongst large retailers, the maturing of standards and the falling cost of RFID are all paving the way for widespread adoption of the technology. Delegates were urged not to delay in adopting RFID, but to act now to take advantage of the benefits it brings, and before their competitors get too far ahead.
