Dubai based BOPP films producer Taghleef Industries (Ti) has opened new USA offices in Charleston, South Carolina. There will also be warehousing facilities, based just a few miles from Charleston’s Wando Terminal.
Colin Jones, Ti’s USA market development manager, comments: “We are the fastest growing BOPP producer in the world and we wanted to prove to the US flexible packaging industry that we are determined to establish a real presence in the USA. With these new facilities we look to develop strategic partnerships with many leading BOPP film converters and users.”

Ti Films has six production sites worldwide, with a nominal capacity of almost 600 million lb/year. The company manufactures BOPP and cast PP films for snacks, confectionery, frozen and normal food packaging, fresh produce, as well as labelling and adhesive tapes.
