The new Twinlock handling video: Semi automatic mounting
Polymount has posted a new video showing how to mount your printing plates manually, in paricular how easy it is to mount a printing plate on a self-adhesive Twinlock Sleeve using a semi automatic mounting machine.
Just follow the steps as shown in the video and you will be able to mount your plates on a Twinlock Sleeve in the right way over and over again.
The video shows the following steps:
1) Activating the tackiness of the Twinlock Sleeve with the Twinlock Activator
2) Prepare the back of the printing plate by cleaning it with our Twinlock Activator and also check if there are 'burrs' or rough cuts on the edges of the plates.
3) Use the semi automatic mounting machine to mount your flexo printing plate. When you are using these types of mounting machines correctly, air bubbles are a thing of the past.
4) De-mounting the printing plate from the Twinlock sleeve, make sure that you do not use any sharp tools. And remove the printing plate sideways.
