UK based contact cleaning equipment specialist Teknek has reached an amicable settlement in its dispute with SDI that will enable Teknek’s sheeted adhesive products to be produced in its US facility for the first time.
“To ensure a truly global service we are developing three fulfilment centres, one in the USA, one in Europe and the other in our Hong Kong facility,” comments Teknek ceo Stephen Mitchell. Teknek Services will offer parts, rollers and adhesive products as well as in field repairs and maintenance for both Teknek products and a wide range of other machines.
The company has also launched the Surface Mount Clean Machine, which is designed to improve yields in all EMS applications. This is said to offer increased functionality and easy maintainenance.
“But its most important feature is its performance,” remarks Stephen Mitchell. “Major customers report as much as an 80 per cent reduction in Tomb stoning, that’s payback within months.”
