A upgrade of Surfscan Technologies’ CheckMate inspection system is claimed to cut much as 20min per shift from 100 per cent on-press inspection of matrix stripped die cut labels. This technology can be used for the inspection of cartons and printed boxes, for which Surfscan promises “major developments” later this year.
