New from Borealis is Borclear RE936CFcopolymer for highly transparent PP blown and cast films in food packaging and medical applications. Cost effective processing and superior optical properties are promised.
Produced with the proprietary Borstar PP 2G technology, Borclear RE936CF is said to be ideal for production of transparent films that have superior gloss and will remain transparent (haze 2 per cent) after sterilization. Also claimed is more than 15 per cent higher film line speed whilst maintaining equally good optical properties.
