UK manufacturer of point of sale (POS) display units Weedon PSC has invested in a new Enko large format diecutter which will enable it to make full and half-size pallet displays more cost effectively.
The diecutter weighs 30 tonnes and measures 5.75m x 4.89m x 2.5m high. Installed at the company's factory in Hednesford, it will cut printed sheets of 1,800mm x 2,200mm, enabling Weedon PSC to produce even the largest display pallets out of two pieces instead of four. This will have cost benefits in particular for manufacturers of household products, breakfast cereals, food and beverages and other bulky products, where full-size pallet displays are used for in-store promotions.
