Sun Chemical has formed a UK consumables division by combining its Boss Graphic Supplies and WebXtras businesses. The group plans to complement its established business in the UK offset market by expanding into packaging sector with the introduction of tailored packages of products and services to meet printers’ requirements.
New products from Sun Chemical Consumables, which is headed by Charles Frost, will include UV lamps, doctor blades, flexo mounting tape, in addition to a new range of spill protection equipment. These and the existing product range are supplied through the ink divisions and supported by Sun’s sales and technical service teams. On-site training and advice is also offered regarding safe handling, storage and use of the products.
