More than 25 printers discovered new ways of reducing costs and increasing business efficiency at a recent Vision in Print one-day workshop, entitled ‘Cost Reduction Through Lean’, hosted at Sun Chemical’s Rochdale, UK, facility. Aimed at directors and middle managers, the event showed delegates how to apply lean techniques in the face of escalating costs such as wage bills, materials and energy. The interactive workshop included presentations and a case study from a printer.
