StrEAT’s Ahead!

KeCo Foodservice Packaging Ltd. has a new ‘StrEAT’ range of 100% recyclable and biodegradable kraft paper disposables, providing operators with a modern and contemporary environmentally-friendly serving solution for consumers wanting to eat on-the-go.

Part of the KeCo Friendly range of packaging (KeCo products that are made from materials which are better for the environment), the new StrEAT range is manufactured in the UK from FSC accredited virgin material and comprises of seven premium quality products, including boxes, scoops, trays, pockets, sleeves and cones – so there is a container to suit food from some of the world’s most popular cuisines; whether hot or cold, sweet or savoury.

Available in kraft brown, the development of the StrEAT range was inspired by the popularity of global cuisine and the continued street food trend to give caterers a versatile and functional packaging choice to complement the serving of a variety of freshly made international foods – from fiery Thai noodles and spicy Mexican burritos, to traditional American-style hot dogs and oh-so British fish and chips! The design of the new StrEAT packaging very much reflects this ethos and stylish, bold icons inspired by the world’s many cuisines adorn the outside of the disposables.

John Young, Sales and Marketing Director, KeCo Foodservice Packaging Ltd. said: “Our StrEAT range of quality foodservice packaging provides operators with easy to use, durable disposables which allow them to cater to the high demands of today’s consumers. This includes addressing the environmental impact of single-use packaging and the importance of supplying environmentally-friendly concepts. The StrEAT range is made from virgin paper and is recyclable.”

For authentic curries, oriental noodles and foods with more sauce or liquid, the StrEAT leak proof and greaseproof box is perfect. StrEAT open trays are great for Indian samosas, tasty Spanish paella, hearty jacket potatoes and popular snack items such as hot dogs, sausage rolls and breakfast pastries. Traditional Mexican foods such as burritos and fajita wraps can be eaten from the StrEAT scoops, sleeves and pockets; as too can deliciously slow-cooked pulled pork and mixed bean takeaway favourites.
