UK corrugated packaging supplier Charapak has installed a complete pallet strapping line from Mosca Direct at its Alfreton site.
Previously, the company had used a manual strapping system. To increase efficiency, it required an integrated solution for automated four-way strap- ping that would give improved throughput and presentation.
The line supplied by Mosca comprises a scissor lift, power conveyor, pallet press and gravity outfeed. The key element of the installation is the KCK 121 pallet press. It features a built-in conveyor, turncross and centralizer that enable pallets to be turned in the machine, for effective cross strapping and safe, stable loads.
