Bobst has transferred representation of Steuer Printing Technology in the UK and Ireland to Bobst Group (UK & Ireland). Steuer, known for its hologram and foil application machines, is based at Leinfelden-Echterdingen, Germany. Bobst took a majority shareholding in the company at the end of 2003.
Steve Creasey, Bobst managing director in the UK and Ireland, says bringing the Steuer agency in-house will offer customers a number of benefits. "We've got a large support team at our centre in Redditch, which includes specialists in the foil blocking and hologram application processes."
Other group companies represented in the UK by Bobst Group (UK & Ireland) include Bobst, Martin, Rapidex, Schiavi and Rotomec.
