Isra Vision’s PrintStar product family of 100 per cent inspection systems offers quality control and process control together for premium printed products and processes, especially for the label industry.
The scalable systems are available for sheet-fed and web-fed processes, as well as for the inspection of single labels. They offer 100 per cent monitoring and documentation of print quality, in-line or off-line, for each repeat, for the entire web or for a production batch. Integrated database functions are said to provide a complete history and objective quality documentation.
Interesting features include additional inspection of varnish, coldseal or hotfoil, with more than one camera bank, verification of colour consistency during the print run, and verification of printed image against the contract design.
For pharmaceutical applications, verification against original PDF assures that the print is complete.
