MonoSol has introduced M-3030, a PVOH based water soluble film for packaging powdered detergents. Specifically developed for use with chemically aggressive alkaline products, its is said to offer faster solubility and a lower price point than competitive films.
M-3030 can handle alkaline products up to a pH of 14, including formulations containing sodium hydroxide. It meets the growing demand for water soluble packaging of pre-measured unit doses of powered detergents that are used in a variety of industrial and household applications.
The film is available in thicknesses from 1-1.2mm and widths up to 54in.
