Smithers Rapra

20 November 2007

A new Smithers Rapra report is based on an FSA project that assessed the potential for the migration of substances from coatings and inks used in food packaging. ‘Coatings and Inks for Food Contact Materials’ attempts to cover all the products used in food contact scenarios. All three of the major material classes are covered: metal, paper and board, and plastics. The report is accompanied by some 400 abstracts from the Polymer Library, to facilitate further reading on this subject.
