Italy’s Simec Group has launched a new version of its sleeve handling and storage system: the Revolver Self is supplied as a kit to reduce shipping costs.
The Revolver has safety rings, suited to the cleaning machine mandrels, to fit into each end of the sleeve. This system ensures sleeves are moved with the utmost care from the printing unit to the cleaning equipment and afterwards to the warehouse, says Simec.
Sleeves remain clean and protected for longer, increasing the overall production quality level and ensuring the consistency of the printing results, the company states.
