Germany's Siegwerk Group has closed its acquisition of the packaging ink activities of Swiss group SICPA Holding, after approval from the relevant antitrust authorities (see August issue). The company will now be called Siegwerk Ink Packaging.
The deal is said to make Siegwerk Europe's largest printing ink company, with 4,100 employees and annual sales of €773M.
